Yes

Question it.

Do you question anything? Everything? I do. I wanted to open up my own little Diaryland club based on that kind of curiousity, so here it is.

Disclaimer

For the Members:
Diaryland doesn't seem to have an active PG-13 rule, so I'm not going to gripe about that. I'm not worried about nudie-pictures or swear words.. but I am worried about racism, homophobia and general hatred. If you're a-gunna be a hater, go somewhere else.

For the Readers:
If you are offended by anything you see here, complain either to the person who posted it or to the mod. The mod hereby declairs that she has the right to choose whether or not to delete content that has been complained about, so if it doesn't get deleted.. the mod didn't feel that it was necessary. The mod controls the comments and diary here, and can IP-ban on both. Spammers consider yourself warned.

Q & A / HELP DESK

How do I join?
There are a few ways you can do that.

So, now that I'm a member, how do I post here?
Well, first, you login to your account and click "Add an entry" (under "Alter your diary"), and click the optional guest-post for question-it, as seen here:

And voila, there you go!

OMG!! Why haven't I been added to the memberslist??
There are a couple of reasons this may have happened.

OMG!! Why aren't I listed as a member anymore? Why can't I post?
You may have been kicked out of our little club. Email me about it, maybe it was a misunderstanding or something. There's also, apparently, a bit of a limit as to how many people I can add to this. I'll deal with that when and if I have to.

A limit? How small is the limit?
Diaryland's FAQ on guest-posting says 25, and "If you need to add more people than that, write us and let us know".

What should I post?
Questions. Any question that comes to mind. If you want to add a link, a picture, or a youtube video, go ahead.. so long as it's relevant to your question. One or more questions? Sure. Just don't flood us with 50 posts a day, okay? :D Tailbonelust and I agree on one thing, though: please avoid the chicken and egg question. It's old!

OMG!! I MISPELLID SOMETHING@!
Don't worry.. tell me what the error is and how you'd like it fixed. If I have time, I'll alter it for you. I can do that, apparently.

The comments and trackback links aren't showing up on my entry! Why?
According to Haloscan, it has to do with using special characters (!@#$%^&*()'.) in the 'short description'. It disrupts the link, apparently.

Why do the same comments keep popping up?
You might have the same entry title as someone else. If you have, for example, the title of "-", you're going to get the same comments for your post as all the other posts under the same title. To avoid that from happening, you have to enter a new and different title for every post you make here.

Where is my old-old-old post?
Somewhere in the archives page if it hasn't been deleted. Posts will only be deleted if the mod feels that it's in bad taste or some other logical reason like that. If you really want to know where your old post is.. you might have to go look for it yourself.

Why isn't my post here anymore?
It might have been deleted.

LOL WTF is this?
The product of Dinosaurorgy's bored mind. Enjoy! I'll think up new questions for this page later as things progress. We have questions, therefore we ask them.

Why hasn't anyone answered my question?
Your question may not have been noticed, or it has and no one knew how to answer it. If all else fails, you could try googling it.

What an original idea!!
Well, actually, it's not. I saw this livejournal community and wanted to see if something like that would flourish here. Since I have yet to have seen something like it on Diaryland, I created this.

WTF.. who is "Lambert"?
Lambert = Dinosaurorgy.

Switched accounts and still want to be here?
Inform Dinosaurorgy via note here, or comment, or email. I will switch things here for you :)

What if there's something that I think that you ought to add to this page?
Tell me about it, I might just add it here and credit you for it.
